Fairest Ayr Racing Odds and Where to Bet
Finding the fairest Ayr racing odds and where to bet is no small task. There are so many different bookies out there now taking bets and that it can be a bit of a minefield when it comes to finding the best overall package. Odds by their very nature are only provisional.
The original odds are based on the probability of a certain outcome when the race is first announced. Any number of circumstances can affect these odds but the most common one is a change in the lineup.
If, for example, a horse that was expected to do well has to withdraw for some reason, this will change the odds for the rest of the horses still in the race. The other major factor is if a lot of money starts being betted on one particular horse.
This will dramatically alter the odds, as the bookies don’t want to lose out. It may also affect your choice of bet too.
The easiest thing to do is to keep it all under one roof. Our racing odds are probably the fairest around, so placing your bet with us should seem like the best option anyway.

What to Wear and What Not to Wear
If you’ve ever been to the races before you’ll know that the dress codes can vary drastically. Some insist on smart dress only while other enforce no dress code policy at all.
It can be confusing, so if you want to know the Ayr dress code and what to wear and what not to wear, then the best thing to do would be to take a look at their official policy online.
Their dress code is fairly standard, but there are also a few words of advice for special occasions such as Ladies’ Day and Ladies’ Night. Click here for more information: http://www.ayr-racecourse.co.uk/plan-your-day/dress-code/
The results of Ayr Races will be available as soon as they have been verified by the course.
If you didn’t get lucky this time, why not try again with one of the other races that are happening that day?
The Gold Cup
The Ayr Gold Cup was inaugurated in 1804 and has since become the standout fixture of Ayr Racecourses’ calendar. It is a flat handicap race that is open to all horses aged three and over. It takes place in September and is run over a distance of six furlongs.
The novelty of this race is that horses that are eliminated from the Gold Cup can race in the Silver Cup as a consolation, and horses eliminated from this race can compete in the Bronze Cup. The real draw for this event though is the prize money.
At £200,000 in total and £124,500 of that for the winner, this makes the Ayr Gold Cup the richest sprint handicap in Europe. Use the following link to read more information about Ayr Racecourses’ most prestigious meetings: http://www.ayr-racecourse.co.uk/races-tickets/top-races-at-ayr/

Ayr Racecourse through the years has seen its fortunes change dramatically. It opened in 1907 but racing in the area dates back to the 16th century. Jumping races were added to the calendar in 1950 and the Scottish Grand National has been held there since 1966.
The racecourse was in dire financial straits by the late 1990’s and a new investor was approved in 2003. However, it would take a further three years of legal wrangling before much needed improvement works could begin.
Despite all this Ayr racecourse flourished and is now considered Scotland’s Premier racecourse.
