Cassava Enterprises software has been around for many years and it is currently used on a lot of the top online gambling sites.
There are literally hundreds of websites that if you look at the footer on the site you will see “Licensed in Gibraltar through Cassava Enterprises (Gibraltar) Limited”.
They manage a number of online gambling websites and help with the running of transactions across many networks and software platforms.
What we like about Cassava enterprise websites is the variety of games that they offer. Given the size of their network, you have a great chance of winning great cash prizes.
All new Cassava websites that we recommend are covered by the UK Gambling Commission.
You can see the license information here.
A Brief History of Cassava
888 Holding was founded in 1997 by two pairs of brothers — one named Avi and Aaron Shaked, the other named Shay and Ron Ben-Yitzhak — all four of whom were originally from Israel. Together, they own 61 per cent of the business through family trusts, with the Shaked brothers owning about half. The original name of the company was Virtual Holdings, Ltd.
The same year 888 Holdings was founded, the brothers launched Casino-on-Net, whose administrative headquarters were in Antigua & Barbuda. Two other subsidiaries — Reef Club Casino and Pacific Poker (which was operated in the United States until the nationwide ban on Internet gambling in 2006) — were launched in 2002, and the next year, Gibraltar became the new site for the company’s administrative centre.
In 2005, the London Stock Exchange added 888 Holdings to its list. The company saw several more milestones during the next ten years, including elevation to the FTSE 250 Index in 2008 and to fourth place on the poker network list in 2012.
In August 2015 — at which time, too, online gambling was made legal again in the United States and 888 Holdings began operating five gambling sites there — they made an unsuccessful bid for the Austrian-based Web gambling company Bwin.
Why Are So Many Websites Run by Cassava?
Players may notice that several of the new bingo sites are licensed through a group called Cassava Enterprises Ltd. While Cassava Enterprises Gibraltar is frequently mistaken for a network, it is actually a managing company that works with several of the largest networks and sites in the UK.
Some of the most popular new Cassava owned bingo sites include 888 and Dragonfish bingo software but many more use Cassava for processing payments. Which is why if you have used multiple sites you may have seen Cassava Enterprise on your bank or credit card statement.
Cassava don’t actually own or operate many websites, when most people are looking for brands that are operated by Cassava, what they are actually looking for are sites that are operated by 888 or Dragonfish.
Players often feel more secure if a website is licensed under Cassava; because their reputation is that of a well-known and well-respected corporation, players can rest assured that they will have a safe and enjoyable experience.
One of the primary functions of Cassava is they are a license holder, so this saves operators from having to go through the onerous task of having to get their own license. Sites that are using the Cassava license are covered by Cassava Enterprise (Gibraltar). In the UK the license is held by 888 holdings.
What Games do They Offer?
Cassava offers the player a wide variety of games in which to participate — and possibly to earn large amounts of money.
All Cassava bingo sites offer one or more games, with different features to try out when you join.
These include popular activities like 90 ball and 75 ball, along with slots and extra casino options to play at the same time.
How Do they Differ from Other Sites or Networks?
What makes the best Cassava bingo sites unique among companies of its type is the kind of bingo playing session that it offers. There are many popular gaming sites which are on other software providers, but Cassava Enterprise bingo sites are a top favourite.
The games provided by some of the popular sites can be played for free, and they pay real cash to winners, which can amount to thousands of pounds. The speed of the games also appeals to many players.
