  • Software: Dragonfish
  • First Deposit Bonus? £40 Free when you deposit £10

As the name would easily suggest, Bingo Ballroom is a website where bingo fans everywhere may gather and play together under a ballroom theme.

Part of the 888 group's network, it is based in the United Kingdom, has been operating as of January 2007 and relies on the well-known Dragonfish bingo software. It is perhaps most often praised for its generous first deposit bonus (which we'll get to in a moment). Let's take a closer look at the platform and see what it's all about.

The games on Bingo Ballroom are primarily centered around both 75-ball bingo and 90-ball bingo. For the unaware, the former is the type of bingo you've likely played before if residing in Canada or the United States, while the latter has another fifteen balls added. The games also feature a ballroom theme, though this hardly effects the games you'll find yourself playing.

Software and Navigation

The website's interface is on par. I won't say it stands out as being notable among the rest, though there's certainly nothing wrong with it. The software actually used within the games, on the other hand, is not too shabby at all. Freezing, crashing and long buffering times are all out of the equation here, which is all you can really ask for.

Payment Methods and Withdrawals

This is one area where the platform really stands out. If you find yourself frustrated with online payment options on a regular basis, this bingo website will certainly be refreshing. You can pay with credit card, Paypal and likely a large variety of payment processors the average person hasn't even heard of. When I'm playing bingo, I don't want to spend all day depositing money. As such, I've come to enjoy Bingo Ballroom's banking system.

The overall function of the platform within the actual games is great. I've never been able to pick out any issues with it through my own experience and can't think of any ways by which the software may be improved upon, giving it a well deserved five-star rating

Mobile and Tablet Player Friendly

Unfortunately, it seems this platform has fallen behind the times in terms of its mobile capabilities. I'd like to see some sort of app through which I can access the website. While I'd normally be happy with a simple mobile website, this one just isn't up to par. It's slow, it's fidgety and it doesn't even let you turn your phone sideways when using it, making typing a pain in the rear. This is my biggest complaint regarding this bingo provider.

Pros and Cons

  • A large upfront deposit bonus
  • Great, easy-to-use software makes joining and playing games a breeze
  • Well-established, we know this is a legitimate platform
  • Depositing and withdrawing funds is easy.

  • 3-5 day wait for withdrawals
  • Poor mobile website makes playing on one's phone a little annoying

Overall, the platform proves to be a worthy contender among others in its realm. Through great bonuses and ease of use, you'll find it to offer everything a bingo website should offer. I will; however, note that those who plan only using their mobile devices to play bingo may find a better platform for their own needs with little searching required.
