Vernons has been a trusted name in gaming for decades, but the brand didn’t open the virtual doors on Vernons Bingo until May 2012. This is actually a rebranding of Littlewoods Bingo, which operated on the St. Minver network, but with the rebranding came a transition to the Virtue Fusion network and Playtech Bingo software. That allows it to offer a wide selection of bingo rooms across a number of different bingo variants, including 90-ball, 80-ball, 75-ball and 75-ball pattern.
Vernon Bingo Bonus Codes and Welcome Offer
Vernons Bingo doesn’t currently offer a no-deposit bonus, but it does have a rather generous signup bonus that only requires you to deposit and spend £5. No promo codes are required. Once you’ve spent £5 on bingo tickets within 14 days of registering your account, you’ll receive a £25 in free bets. In addition, you’ll have access to Free Newbie Bingo for a month. This free bingo runs every Tuesday between 8pm and 10pm, and prizes range from £10 to £50 per game.
The welcome offer does have a wagering requirement of four times the £25 bonus. That means that you’ll have to buy an additional £100 in bingo tickets beyond the initial £5 you spent before you can withdraw any winnings you earned from the free bets or the free bingo games.
Vernons Bingo also offers a second-deposit bonus, and unlike the signup bonus, this does require the use of bonus codes. Make a second deposit of at least £5 using the bonus code VNB200. Then spend at least £5, and you’ll receive a £10 bonus. The wagering requirement for this offer is also four times the bonus amount or £40.
Additionally, you earn loyalty points when you spend real money on bingo tickets or side games, such as slot machines and scratch cards. As you accrue LPs, you’ll move up in loyalty tier. At the default tier, LPs convert into a bonus good for bingo and side games at the rate of 1,000 to £1. That rate will become more favorable as you move up in tier.
The Playtech Bingo software is really easy to use. Everything runs in your browser, which means that games load and configure themselves behind the scenes. Vernons does a great job of making these slot games and the site pop with an energetic design and a bright color palette. There’s a fixed left-hand navigation menu that lets you hop around to rooms with ease. The lobby and bingo rooms are well laid out. The chat is easy to read and use, and moderators do a great job of keeping it fun.
Payment Methods and Withdrawals
Vernons deals exclusively in the British Pound. Major credit and debit cards supported include MasterCard, Visa and Maestro. Withdrawals are not supported by MasterCard at this time, and Maestro requires you to register for a SecureCode before you can use it to deposit or withdraw. Vernons also supports web wallets Neteller, Skrill/Moneybookers, PayPal and Paysafe card. Web wallets can transfer money directly or through credit cards and wire transfers, including those that Vernons doesn’t directly support.
The game selection, bonus opportunities and guaranteed jackpots are all excellent. We're happy to spend our bingo time there, and we would highly recommend them.
Vernons Bingo doesn’t offer a dedicated mobile app. Instead, it uses a mobile-version of its site. The site should detect that you’re on a mobile device and transfer you to the appropriate site version. There’s also a QR code on the site you can use to get there if it doesn’t. The great thing about this approach is that the look and feel is consistent across all devices. Additionally, if you’re on an Android tablet or iPad as opposed to a smartphone, the site can make better use of that additional screen real estate.
