Places to Park Nearby
The Dundee Douglasfield Mecca Bingo is located right next to a huge range of parking spaces. The closest is Dundee Valeting, which has a massive car park of its own, which is only a ten-minute walk away from the bingo hall itself. However, there are also at least sixteen other car parks further south-west. While they can take a while to get to on foot, taking public transport makes them much more viable, and it’s easy to find a suitable place to park considering that there’s so many different places to choose from.
Other Bingo Hall Nearby
There’s another Mecca Bingo closer to the middle of Dundee, roughly eleven minutes away by car. Aside from that, the only notable places to legally play bingo is a Buzz Bingo to the west, which takes a slightly longer drive to reach. They’re the only places to really play bingo in the area – the next-closest bingo hall is another Buzz Bingo half an hour away in Arbroath, followed by another one much further south across the River Tay.
There are two nearby casinos in relation to the Mecca Bingo, both in the same area near the middle of Dundee. One is a Merkur Cashino around ten minutes away (by car), and the other is a Grosvenor Casino an extra three minutes further. There’s a Cashino Gaming casino half an hour west and an Admiral casino down in Glenthroes, which takes around forty minutes to reach by car.
Betting Shops Nearby
Dundee is host to a wide range of betting shops, many of which are reasonably close to the Mecca Bingo building. There’s three Ladbrokes outlets practically only a street away, as well as a William Hill further down Douglas Road. Not only that, but there’s a Betfred and another Ladbrokes to the north-west, and a big cluster of different betting shops (including a Coral) to the south-west, closer to the middle of the city.
Overall, the area has two Coral shops, six William Hills and eight Ladbrokes, as well as three Betfreds. However, not all of them are easy to reach on foot, with either Coral betting shop in particular taking a long time to reach without a vehicle or public transport.
