About

Mecca Bingo York is located in the North Shore area of the seaside resort which makes it easily accessible by car, bus, or the nearby train station.

There are 2000 comfortable seats in the huge venue, as well as plenty of electronic terminals that can be used to play Mecca Max. Promotions, bonuses, competitions, and giveaways will keep everyone happy here, plus there are numerous events and trips that you can participate in throughout the year.

There is a great range of food to choose from at the cafe including some rather delicious desserts too. There are two bars where you pick up a drink, sit back and take a short break.

For a brief change of scenery why not go and have a few spins on the fun arcade machines.

Disabled guests will find parking, easy access, seating, and toilets, plus hearing loops are available if required.

Getting Parked and Travelling

If you’re unable to get parked at the Mecca Bingo in York, do make sure that you take a look at other parking facilities nearby.  There is the Bootham Row car park close by, as well as the NCP based on Tanner Row.

This is a multi-storey facility which opens until late most nights.  Do also check out the car park at Monk Bar, and the facility based on Nunnery Lane.  There are lots of spaces to choose from if Mecca’s fully booked.

York train station is one of the biggest in the north, which therefore means it will be very easy for you to get here from most towns and cities nearby.  Take a close look at your local timetables and make it a day out!

Bingo Halls

York doesn’t have much in the way of specialist bingo clubs, but if you’d prefer to try somewhere different for your dabbing action, be sure to check out the Clifton Club based at 54 Clifton.

Otherwise, you will need to head to the Mecca Bingo based in Wakefield, or the Mecca Bingo at Leeds Mayfair, for your ball-spotting and dabbing action.  There’s plenty to choose from if you venture out and about a little.

Casinos Nearby

If the idea of a full Vegas experience is up to your alley, you’re likely to find plenty of choices nearby.  Check out the Admiral Casino in York centre, as well as the MissDeal Fun Casino based down the road in Selby.

Again, Leeds is home to more gaming action, with the large Victoria Gate Casino playing to plenty of punters throughout the year.

Betting in York

What York lacks in bookmakers, it makes up for in betting shops.  There’s a branch of William Hill near Mecca Bingo at Swinegate, as well as a Ladbrokes at 2 Kings Square.  You might also want to check out one of two Betfreds, with a branch-based at Bishopthorpe Road and another at 20 Pavement.

There’s also a branch of Coral nearby, based at 139A Beckfield Lane.  If you fancy a flutter, there’s plenty of choices!
