About This Club
Mecca Bingo Dundee Playhouse is located in the North Shore area of the seaside resort which makes it easily accessible by car, bus, or the nearby train station.
There are 2000 comfortable seats in the huge venue, as well as plenty electronic terminals that can be used to play Mecca Max. Promotions, bonuses, competitions, and giveaways will keep everyone happy here, plus there are numerous events and trips that you can participate in throughout the year.
There is a great range of food to choose from at the cafe including some rather delicious desserts too. There are two bars where you pick up a drink, sit back and take a short break, or for a brief change of scenery why not go and have a few spins on the fun arcade machines. Disabled guests will find parking, easy access, seating, and toilets, plus hearing loops are available if required.
Places to Park Nearby
This Mecca Bingo shop is placed right in the middle of Dundee, giving it direct access to a lot of car parks and parking areas. The closest is Nethergate Car Park, located on just around the corner, with the Yeaman Shore car park also being directly just over the other side of the block. To the north-east is an underground garage, which is only four minutes of walking time away.
There’s also South Tay Street Car Park, NCP Car Park, Dundee Willison Street, and Overgate Car Park, among others, all of which are less than ten minutes away on foot.
Other Bingo Halls Nearby
While there aren’t any other bingo halls right next to this Mecca Bingo, there’s still two that you can easily reach. The first is another Mecca Bingo near Douglas Road, and the other is a Buzz Bingo the north-west near the Stack Retail Park. Both are around ten minutes away by car, but walking there isn’t recommended.
The Mecca Bingo is right next to both a Merkur Cashino and a Grosvenor Casino, both of which take around six minutes to reach on foot. The Merkur Cashino might be easier to reach during rush hours, since you can reach it by moving up the high street – to reach the Grosvenor, you need to cross over a larger part of the A991, which has two sets of lanes.
Betting Shops Nearby
There is a wide range of betting shops in the area, and many of them are practically on the same street as this particular Mecca Bingo shop. There’s a Ladbrokes just around the corner, and a William Hill one street past that. Further north is a Coral betting shop on Reform Street. Not only is that, but the Murrygate shopping area has yet another William Hill bet shop, a Betfred and a Ladbrokes.
These are all relatively each to reach on foot, but there are also some other betting shops that might require a car to reach effectively: two Ladbrokes on the A929, another two on Strathmartine Road to the north, and a fifth to the west on Perth Road, past the University of Dundee. Certain other betting shops are dotted around further to the north and west, but they’re too far away to reliably reach without a car, and are the same brands as those closer to the city centre.
