About

Mecca Bingo Sunderland is located in the North Shore area of the seaside resort which makes it easily accessible by car, bus, or the nearby train station.

There are 2000 comfortable seats in the huge venue, as well as plenty of electronic terminals that can be used to play Mecca Max.

Promotions, bonuses, competitions, and giveaways will keep everyone happy here, plus there are numerous events and trips that you can participate in throughout the year.

There is a great range of food to choose from at the cafe including some rather delicious desserts too.

There are two bars where you pick up a drink, sit back and take a short break, or for a brief change of scenery why not go and have a few spins on the fun arcade machines. Disabled guests will find parking, easy access, seating, and toilets, plus hearing loops are available if required.

Where You Should Park

Driving into Sunderland and heading to the Mecca Bingo?  Find yourself somewhere nice, easy and accessible to park at.  Your nearest facilities will be available at the Bridges Car Park at Green Terrace, which is generally open until late.

You’ll also find car parking zones at Boughton Street, St Mary’s, and Murton Street,  There’s plenty of choice for motorists here, which is obviously a good thing.

If you’re getting here by train, head to the main Sunderland station in the centre.  It’s well linked to nearby cities such as Newcastle, though you’ll also be able to travel to and from smaller stations as Seaham and East Boldon if you wish.

Bingo Nearby

It’s worth checking out other bingo and gaming opportunities in the vicinity if you can.  For example, make a point of checking out the Buzz Bingo on Pallion New Road or the branch based in the Washington Centre in – funnily enough – Washington.

These shouldn’t be too difficult for you to get to, even if you are using buses or taxis.  There’s also another Mecca Bingo based out in nearby Gateshead if that’s closer for you to get to.

Local Casinos and Gaming Centres

Once you’ve done your fair share of ticket dabbing, take a lookout at the Grosvenor Casino based at 6 Lambton Street.  These branches are very popular with people who love authentic casino games and Vegas action.

Alternatively, there is a high street casino and slots centre based at the local Admiral, which you will find at Waterloo Place.  If bingo simply isn’t satisfying your gaming needs – check out some casino action in the local area!

Sunderland Bookmakers

Sunderland also has you well-covered if you’d like to place a few bets on your favourite sports.  Your nearest bookmaker will be the Betfred on Blandford Street, as well as the William Hills at Holmeside and 12 Athenaeum Street.

There’s a Ladbrokes at 6 Holmeside, too, as well as a Coral situated nearby at 16 Park Lane.  Otherwise, check out the Paddy Power at 15-17 Derwent Street – if it takes your fancy!
